Our cruises are not generally suitable for children due to the nature of the expeditions. Please contact our office for terms and conditions regarding children.
All transfers are provided between your accommodation and the Kimberley Quest II. Expeditions departing or arriving in Wyndham include transfers to and from Kununurra to the vessel. Selected cruises include a light aircraft transfer and a helicopter flight over the Mitchell Falls.
Our cruises include daily excursions led by our knowledgeable guides, fresh Kimberley style gourmet cuisine prepared by our on-board chef, soft drinks and linen, including excursion towels.

Reserving a Booking
A completed booking form, signed terms and conditions and a non refundable deposit of 20% is required within 14 days of booking to confirm your reservation.
Pre / Post Accommodation
Pre-post accommodation is not included in the price however; as we are local and knowledgeable on this area we are happy to provide you with our expert opinion on availability for accommodation and our recommendations.
If your cruise is in the months of June, July or August we advise that you book your accommodation as early as possible as this is a peak period in the Kimberley. Please contact our office should you require assistance or if you would like us to help arrange accommodation for you.

Drinks / Beverages
Beverages can be pre ordered through our beverage order form which includes a selection of wine, champagne, beer and mixers. If your preferred beverages are not listed on the form, please advise our office and we will endeavour to meet your requirements.
Guests can also BYO, please notify our office if this is your preferred option as certain cruises require a flight transfer and weight restrictions apply.
A small selection of beverages are also available onboard the “Kimberley Quest II’ for purchase.
Please ensure you have completed your beverage order form and have returned this to our office at least 8 weeks prior to your cruise.
Kimberley Quest II produces water onboard allowing you to have unlimited chilled fresh water available. We do have bottled water available as well for purchase.
Tea and coffee facilities with a cappuccino machine are available 24 hours a day along with complimentary soft drinks and fruit juices. (Soft drinks used for alcoholic mixers are an additional cost).
Pearl Sea Coastal Cruises consider the cuisine to be an important and integral part of the cruising experience. We provide a variety of meals, including freshly caught fish, Kimberley oysters and mud crabs which are prepared by our on-board chef. A choice of meal options are presented to cater for all preferences with an emphasis on locally sourced, fresh produce.
All dietary requirements (including gluten-free and celiac) can be catered for on-board.
We also love celebrations and would love to know if your cruise is for a special occasion or birthday.
Excursions are operated throughout the day offering a variety of options.
From scenic tender rides, fishing, discovering rock art, bush walking (treks vary in difficulty and your crew will notify you accordingly), bird watching and nature viewing you can do as little or as much as you like. The crew are on hand to guide and assist you as well as conveying their knowledge of local history, identifying flora and fauna, assisting you with catching that prized barramundi and sharing their rock art discoveries with you.
Excursions are undertaken via our custom built fully licensed tenders, so a moderate level of fitness is required to enter and exit the tenders.
The isolated waters of the Kimberley are teeming with fish and the crew on-board know the best spots to catch them!
All fishing is performed from our custom built excursion tenders and includes a variety of fishing options from pelagic fishing in the outer islands to casting for the ultimate saltwater barramundi in the estuarine creeks, inlets and numerous river systems.
High quality fishing equipment is available for all passengers to use. We ask that if you lose any fishing gear you replace it. For the keen fisher person there is the possibility of bringing your own fishing gear, if you would prefer this option please contact our office prior to your cruise.
Our policy is catch and release only keeping enough for the dinner table.
Selected cruises include a helicopter flight over the spectacular Mitchell Falls which is included in the fare cost.
Scenic helicopter flights are available onboard Kimberley Quest II cruises for an additional cost. A variety of flight options are arranged onboard with the Captain.

On-board satellite phone, facsimile and internet are available for guest usage at an additional cost. Guests can receive phone calls on the vessel anytime throughout their cruise. Messages to the vessel may also be relayed via our office.

The Kimberley Quest II has visual equipment to view photos or video footage daily. All guest cabins include 240 volt power, suitable to charge your cameras.
The library on-board the Kimberley Quest II is one of the most extensive and up to date collections which includes Kimberley reference books on flora, fauna, rock art, history, pearling, fishing, whales, geology and journals.
For guests who would prefer to read general interest publications, novels and magazines we have a variety on-board for your perusal.
The command centre of the vessel, this area is open at all times. You are welcome to come and have a chat with the Captain, ask questions, take a book from the well stocked library and enjoy the air-conditioned comfort.
There is an 8 seater spa located on the bow of the vessel which can be heated for your use. This is a great way to relax and enjoy the spectacular Kimberley surrounds especially whilst cruising or watching the sun go down!
Our stewardesses are able to do any guests laundry on-board during their cruise at no charge.
Guest laundry bags are provided in every cabin and we ask that you please be mindful of water usage.
Kimberley Quest II has a range of merchandise available for purchase onboard. A selection of polo shirts, Columbia fishing shirts, long sleeve shirts, women and men shorts, caps, hats and stubby coolers are available.
Located in the wheelhouse, a selection of Linneys Broome Pearls are available for all guests to purchase. After all, why not spoil yourself and take home something special to remind you of your Kimberley holiday, you deserve it!
There will be plenty of opportunities to swim throughout your cruise. All swimming will be in safe surrounds with no swimming taking place unless advised by your crew. The majority of water-based activities are in fresh water rock pools and invigorating streams filled with majestic waterfalls – far away from crocodiles. We do advise all passengers to be cautious during your cruise as estuarine crocodiles are present throughout the Kimberley.
There is only one designated smoking area on-board the vessel. This is located on the top deck, behind the wheelhouse outside. Smoking is not permitted in any other areas of the vessel including cabins, alfresco dining area, front deck (top deck) & in the tenders. We ask all passengers to please use ashtrays provided and refrain from discarding butts into the water.
The Kimberley Quest II requests that travellers are in general good health to participate in our cruises. Please inform us if you have any medical or physical conditions that we need to be aware of. The Kimberley Quest II carries an extensive RFDS medical kit onboard for your well-being. The Royal Flying Doctor service (RFDS) is fully supported via phone consultation and instruction by qualified medical practitioners in the event of a medical emergency. The Kimberley Quest II carries general first aid kits in all tenders and accompanies all land excursions.
Please bring any medication onboard including any seasickness medication and or paracetamol.
If for any reason evacuation is required, it is an extremely costly exercise. Not all travel insurance policies cover these unexpected circumstances, especially inclusive of “unlimited evacuation costs” which is an essential requirement when travelling in the remote Kimberley region. We recommend Suresave.
